Getting started
What is BLOQ?+
BLOQ is decision-support software for traders. It automatically scans markets, market-moving catalysts and arbitrage routes, with rules and risk limits built in — so you read the market faster and act with more discipline. It is not a broker and does not trade for you.
How do I get started?+
Create a free account at
account.html with Google, open the Command Center, and add a few symbols to your watchlist. Upgrade to Pro or Ultra when you want alerts, rules or automation.
Do I need a credit card to try it?+
No. The Core plan is free and stays free — no card required. You only add billing when you choose Pro or Ultra.
Is there a desktop app, and where do I download it?+
Yes — a fast desktop workspace runs alongside the web Command Center. Approved accounts see downloads on the
Downloads page after signing in.
What's the difference between the web app and the desktop app?+
They share the same account and data. The desktop app is optimised to stay open while you work; the web Command Center needs nothing to install. Use whichever fits your workflow.
Product & how it works
What does BLOQ actually do?+
It continuously scans markets and events, scores how relevant each opportunity is, shows the risk context and blockers, and keeps you to your own rules — so your decisions are faster and more disciplined. The decision is always yours.
Does BLOQ give buy or sell signals, or financial advice?+
No. BLOQ does not provide investment advice, buy/sell recommendations or price predictions. It surfaces context and evidence and enforces your rules. See
Risk & legal.
How does the scanner work?+
It checks multiple pairs, timeframes and strategy families, plus arbitrage and data-quality checks. Each candidate is scored; only ones that pass your conditions surface, so you spend time on quality setups instead of noise.
What is the catalyst / event engine?+
It monitors approved public accounts and official sources, filters out noise, and scores whether an event maps to a tradable market. Only relevant, scored events reach you — as context, alerts or rules.
What are arbitrage routes?+
BLOQ can scan price differences across venues and surface possible routes with the fees, liquidity and data-quality checks attached. Anything live is policy-gated behind your approvals and limits.
Does BLOQ place orders or trade for me?+
No by default. Any live execution requires your explicit permissions, hard limits and an armed kill switch, and can be paused instantly. See
Security.
Markets & data
Which markets and assets are covered?+
Crypto, stocks, ETFs and FX, in one market pulse. Open a symbol like BTCUSDT, AAPL, QQQ or EUR/USD directly in the Command Center.
Where does the market data come from?+
From exchange and market-data feeds, combined with BLOQ's own scoring. Data quality is checked continuously, and weak or stale data downgrades a signal rather than hiding it.
How real-time is the data?+
Live where the feed supports it (e.g. orderbook and trade streams for crypto). The Overview shows the current data status so you always know how fresh it is.
Can I build my own watchlist?+
Yes — add the symbols you trade as favourites and BLOQ keeps them in sync across the web and desktop app.
Opportunity Reader
What is the Opportunity Reader?+
It's the view that turns the scan into one clear read: a decision, the confidence behind it, the data quality, and what still needs to happen — so you can act or wait with evidence.
What do WAIT, BLOCKED and TAKEN mean?+
WAIT = conditions aren't complete yet, keep watching. BLOCKED = a hard rule or risk check stops the setup. TAKEN = the setup met your plan and was recorded. They describe your process, not a profit promise.
Why does it say "wait" so often?+
By design. Most of the time there is no clean setup, and BLOQ is built to keep you out of weak trades. "No edge, no trade" is a feature, not a bug.
Journal & discipline
What is the journal and accountability system?+
More than a trade log: you first record your trading plan, then journal trades, and BLOQ checks whether you followed your own rules — measuring process and discipline, not just profit.
How does the trading plan work?+
You define it in four parts — Bias, POI, Entry and Exit. Every trade you journal is then rated against that plan, so you can see where you stay disciplined and where you drift.
What is the process / discipline score?+
A transparent score from how complete your plan is and how often you actually follow it. It rewards good process — a losing trade taken on-plan still counts as good execution.
Can I import trades from MetaTrader (MT4/MT5)?+
Automatic broker import is on the roadmap. Today you can journal trades quickly by hand; auto-import is being added so trades flow in automatically.
Plans & features
Which plans are there?+
Core (free), Pro (€29/mo) and Ultra (€79/mo). See the full comparison on the
pricing page.
What's included in each plan?+
Core: live charts, basic scanner and journal. Pro: catalyst engine, alerts and the rules workflow. Ultra: cross-exchange arbitrage and automation. Exact entitlements are shown on
pricing and in your account.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?+
Yes, anytime from your account. Upgrades apply right away; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?+
Yes — yearly billing saves about 20% versus monthly.
Billing & payments
How do I pay?+
Pro and Ultra use secure card checkout (Stripe) when billing is enabled. Your plan, license and downloads update automatically after payment.
Where do I find my invoices?+
In your account under
Billing. Each invoice can be opened or downloaded there.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from your account whenever you like; your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
Do you offer refunds?+
For billing and refund questions, email support@bloqtrading.com (or use the assistant) and the team will help you directly.
How do I update my card?+
Open the secure billing portal from
Billing to update card details and manage your subscription.
Account & sign-in
How do I sign in?+
BLOQ uses Google sign-in. Click "Sign in with Google" on
your account page; after the success screen you're returned to your portal automatically.
I'm signed in but still see "Sign in" — what should I do?+
Do a hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+R). The top-right shows "My account" once your session is detected. If it persists, open your account page and sign in again.
How do I change my profile or picture?+
Open
Profile in your account. You can update your details and upload a profile picture there.
How do I manage devices and sessions?+
Your device and session status is shown in your
account, and a "Clear session" option is available in the account session strip.
Who can access the admin dashboard?+
Only the master account. The admin area is hidden for normal clients and is enforced server-side, so it can't be reached without admin rights.
Downloads & the app
Which platforms are supported?+
Desktop builds for macOS and Windows, with mobile companions planned. The latest version is listed on the
Downloads page.
How do I install it?+
Download the build for your platform from your account and open it. Only install builds downloaded from bloqtrading.com.
How do updates work?+
The desktop app updates through its built-in updater on your release channel, so you stay on the latest version.
Access & devices
Do I need a license key?+
No. Access is tied to your account — just sign in. There is no license key to enter. Your plan and device status are shown in your
plan.
On how many devices can I use BLOQ?+
Your plan's device limit and current devices are shown in your
account.
Security & privacy
How are my credentials and keys protected?+
Credentials are encrypted at rest, scoped to the minimum needed, and never exposed in the browser. Read more on the
security page.
Is there two-factor authentication?+
Yes. Sign-in and sensitive account changes are protected behind backend checks, and 2FA is part of the security model.
Can BLOQ trade without my permission?+
No. Live execution is policy-gated: it needs your permissions, hard limits and an armed kill switch, and you can pause or stop it instantly.
What data do you store, and do you sell it?+
We store what's needed to run your account (profile, plan, license, journal). We do not sell your personal data. See the
Privacy Policy.
Referrals
How does the referral program work?+
Create a referral code in your account and share your link. Signups and conversions are tracked under
Referrals.
What do I earn, and what does my friend get?+
Referral rewards and customer discounts are shown in your referral dashboard and are reviewed by BLOQ before payout. See the
referral terms.
Risk & legal
Is BLOQ financial advice?+
No. BLOQ is decision-support software only. It does not provide financial, investment or trading advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell.
Can I lose money?+
Yes. Trading involves substantial risk and you can lose money. Scans, scores and past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Read the
risk disclaimer.
Where are the terms and privacy policy?+
Support & contact
How do I contact support?+
Use the contact form on the
support page, email support@bloqtrading.com, or ask the assistant (bottom-right) and tap "Email the team" to open a ticket.
How fast do you respond?+
Typically within 24–48 hours by email. The more detail you include (what you did, what happened, any error), the faster we can help.
Is there a live assistant?+
Yes — the assistant in the bottom-right answers product, pricing and account questions right away, and can open a support ticket for anything it can't resolve.
How do I check if a service is down?+
Troubleshooting
Sign-in won't complete after Google+
Make sure pop-ups/redirects aren't blocked, finish on the success page, then return to your account. If a saved session won't refresh, use "Clear session" and sign in again. The backend must be reachable for login.
The app won't open or shows a blank screen+
Reload the app (Cmd/Ctrl+R). If it persists, try Safe mode / reinstall the latest build from
Downloads, then contact support with the details.
Data isn't loading or keeps "refreshing"+
This usually means the market/back-end connection is recovering. Check the
status page, then use the Refresh control. BLOQ downgrades signals on weak data rather than showing unreliable numbers.
I still need help+
Open a ticket via the assistant ("Email the team") or the
support page — include your account email, the category and a detailed description, and we'll reply within 24–48 hours.
